I have been quite busy lately and have not been able to blog, but I am going to get things going again with some random weddings that never, for one reason or another, got posted.
Tiffany and Todd were married a few weeks ago here in Pittsburgh, PA. The unseasonally warm weather continued for this late October wedding. Thanks to both of you for allowing me to be a part of your day!!

Greetings from sunny Southport, NC. Before I left for the beach this past weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Krista and John's wedding at St. Bernadette's Church in Monroeville, PA. Their reception was immediately following at Stratigo's in North Huntingdon. I had a great time with another wonderful couple. Here are a few images from the day.
I don't really know where to start with this post. I have been looking forward to this wedding ever since I did their engagement session this past October. I have known Jacki for a few years by the way of her and my wife working together. Jacki is the type of person that after you have been around her for just a few minutes, you can see that she is just a genuinly great person. When she called me last year to ask me to be her wedding photographer it was an honor that she thought of me. I then had the opportunity to meet Nick. Once again, after a few short moments I knew that Nick was going to make Jacki a very happy girl for many years to come. They are a perfect match, and both of them are all around great people.
The wedding took place in State College, PA at Penn State University. The reception also was on campus at the Nittany Lion Inn, which is now in the list of my favorite place to photograph at. Here are a few pictures from their wedding day. Thanks again Jacki and Nick...
Amanda and Nick had another beatiful day to be married on August 4th. They were married at St Paul's Cathedral in Oakland. Then we headed out to Hartwood Acres and from there we went to their reception which was held at The Chadwick in Wexford. They day couldn't have been better and I wish the happy couple nothin but the best for their future together. Here are some pictures from their wedding day.

Hey the folks!! With the power outage and some other things that fell on my plate the last few weeks, I have fallen behind with the blog again. I just got done edie my blog pics from my last three weddings and they will be posting shortly!!!
Hey there blog watchers!! With the storms from yesterday I have been left without power for the last 22 hours. You never really have a true appreciation of electricity until you are without it. From what I can gather from various sources it may not be restored until sometime this weekend. Luckily, I can still blog and receive email on my TREO 750! In the meantime, if you need to reach me, you can leave me a voicemail or send me an email, and I will be able to get back to you.
It actually almost pains me to write this, but I figured I may be able to save a few of you a little time and effort, let alone a little of your hard earned cash.
My in-laws decided that they wanted to take me out to dinner for my birthday yesterday evening and my mother in law thought it might be nice to check out the new Grille 36 on the north shore despite some of the reviews that it has been getting.
We arrived at the restaurant around 6:30 and were told we had a 30 minute wait, not bad for a party of 8. We just sat at the bar and had a few drinks while we were waiting.
They called us to our table and we put our orders in. At this point I was thinking either that the reviews aere wrong or the place had fixed some of the problems that it was having. Our appetizer arrived and was pretty good. The our dinners came. All of the kids got mac and cheese. Easy enough. My father in law and I had no problems, we received the correct meals. Although my fries were a little on the cold side. My wife, mother in law and Brother in law all received the wrong meals. They were able to fix my brother in law's but my wife and mother in law NEVER received the correct meal. I personally have never seen a patty melt (which is what they both ordered) that resembled a philly cheese steak. They brought the same thing out to them twice. My wife's fries were ice cold by the time she received them and both of their "patty melts" were made out of steak-ums.
What's really sad is the place has real potential but you can just tell that the management and waitstaff all just feel that people will show up because of the name of the place and do not see the need to provide top notch service. I really hope the place shapes up. If it doesn't, it won't last another year or two. I know I will not be going back.

Lauren and Tony were married July 21st at the Shannopin Country Club in Avalon, PA. Another beautiful day for a wedding in unusually sunny Pittsburgh. Lauren and Tony are a truely cool couple to work with and I wish them nothing but the best in their new life together. Here are a couple pics from their wedding day.
Mark and I go back a little bit. We met in College and had a few classes together at La Roche College before I decided to trasnsfer to Duquesne University. I actually did a wedding for a friend of Mark's last year and was really surprised when I heard from him asking if I was open for His and Jennifer's wedding date. Jennifer called me a few weeks ago to set up their engagement session. We decided to go out to Hartwood by the mansion. You could just that when they arrived that Mark, Like most men, was just bubbling with excitment to get his picture taken. Anyway, Jen and I managed to get Mark calmed down and we came away from the session with some great images. Here are a few from the evening.
I haven't posted any new pictures of my kids since January ,so I figured what the heck. They are definitly growing and the little man looks nothing like he did when we went to Disney in January. Enjoy!!

Chrissy and Bernie picked what was called the most popular wedding date in history to be married. I really don't think that these two need the triple seven luck though. Ever since I met them a few years ago at another wedding, you could tell that they were meant to be together. It was truly a beautiful day in every way imaginable at Linden Hall in Dawson, PA. I will be looking forward to hearing from them when they return from their Ireland Honeymoon. Here are some images from their 777 wedding....

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of traveling out to Ohio to cover Sarah and Dion's wedding. They had planned an outdoor wedding and a few weeks ago when I had met with them I asked Sarah what plan B was in case of rain. She said that she didn't have one because it was not going to rain. She could not have been more right. They put a lot of time and energy into having a wedding exactly the way they wanted it to be, whether or not it meant breaking some of the so called rules of a wedding day. It was a great day capped off by a surprise fireworks display from Sarah's Dad. Here are a few images from the day.

This is the third wedding that I have had the pleasure of covering for this group of friends. It was definitly a different experience for me to show up to a wedding and already know a good portion of the guests in attendance. Katy and Mike were married this past Saturday at the Prince of Peace Church in the South Hills. Once again, another beatiful day weather wise for an outstanding couple. These guys were great to work with and went out of their way to make sure that I was made to feel welcome at their wedding. It was also nice to see a couple of my former clients and their families as well. Thanks again guys!!

Jackie and Jeremy got married a few weeks ago at the Rezie Park Rose Garden in Mckeesport, PA. Although it was rather hot, it was a beautiful day for a wedding. I had met Jackie through one of her bridesmaids, Tara, for who I had done her wedding last year in April. Jackie was a gorgeous bride and what the heck, Jeremy cleans up pretty well too!! Just wanted to take a second and wish everyone a happy Independence Day. I also want to give a special shout out to all of the members of our Armed Forces who help to protect our freedoms that we celebrate on this day.
